A. J. served on the No Walls Ministry Board of Directors from 2014 to 2023. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s Women's College, the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill School of Dentistry Dental Assisting Program, and the University of Phoenix. She is the CEO of BS Grillin’ Company with products in retail stores across the U.S.
A. J. married Desi Richards in 1990 and moved to Lynchburg, VA. They have two wonderful adult children, Ashleigh and Zander. A. J. homeschooled her children through middle and high school and taught part-time at Alliance Christian Academy. She has served on numerous committees at her church and has been involved in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for over 30 years.
She is a member of New Hope Community Church and enjoys working with young children and single moms as the hands and feet of Jesus.
